Terms of Service

01The service
ZOROLIQ provides online booking pages, scheduling, client records, booking deposits, automatic emails, checkout records, inventory, team logins and reports for service businesses. Features depend on your plan (Base or Pro) and may change as we improve the product.
02Your account
- You must be at least the age of majority where you live and able to form a binding contract, and the information you give us must be accurate.
- You’re responsible for your account, everyone you invite to it, and keeping login details secure. Tell us right away at support@zoroliq.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- The account owner controls team access and roles and is responsible for what team members do in the account.
03Plans, trials and billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in the currency shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes.
- Free trials last for the period shown at signup. A payment method may be required, and you’re charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- You can cancel from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid aren’t refunded except where required by law.
- You can upgrade from Base to Pro at any time; the difference is prorated. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email.
- If a payment fails, we may pause access to the dashboard until it’s resolved. Your booking data isn’t deleted because of a failed payment.
04Deposits and payments to your business
- Client deposits are processed by Stripe through your own connected Stripe account. The money goes to you, not to ZOROLIQ. Your use of Stripe is also governed by Stripe’s own terms.
- You set your deposit, cancellation and rescheduling rules and are responsible for showing them clearly to your clients, honouring them, and handling refunds and disputes with your clients. When you cancel a client’s booking, ZOROLIQ requests a refund of their deposit automatically.
- Checkout in ZOROLIQ records how a client paid you. ZOROLIQ does not process those in-person payments.
- You’re responsible for charging and remitting the correct sales taxes (such as GST/PST/HST) and for your own accounting.
05Your data and your clients’ data
- You own the data you and your clients put into ZOROLIQ. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You’re responsible for having a lawful basis and any consent needed to collect your clients’ information and to email them (including follow-up and review emails you turn on), and for complying with privacy and anti-spam laws that apply to you.
- Don’t use intake forms to collect information you don’t need. You’re responsible for sensitive information you choose to collect.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except records we must keep by law.
06Consent forms, health information and your services
ZOROLIQ is software, not a healthcare or beauty provider. We don’t provide medical, legal or professional advice, and we aren’t a party to any treatment or service you provide. You alone are responsible for the services you provide to your clients, including their safety, results, any injury or complication, your licences and qualifications, following the rules of your regulatory college or authority, and carrying appropriate insurance.
You write and control the wording of your consent forms and intake questions. We provide sample text only as a starting point, and it isn’t legal or medical advice. You’re responsible for making sure your forms are right for your services and meet the laws and professional standards that apply to you (for example, having them reviewed by your medical director or lawyer), for obtaining informed consent in person where required, and for confirming a client’s identity.
ZOROLIQ records the form text, the name typed, the drawn signature, and the date and time of each signature. Whether an electronic signature is enough for a particular treatment is your decision. You’re responsible for keeping client and consent records for as long as the law or your profession requires, including exporting them before you close your account.
07Acceptable use
Don’t use ZOROLIQ to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, upload content you don’t have rights to, try to access other businesses’ data, interfere with or overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or resell it without our permission. We may suspend accounts that do.
08Availability and changes
We work to keep ZOROLIQ available and reliable, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we don’t give any warranties beyond those in these terms, including that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. It may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control, such as outages at our providers, internet failures or other events beyond our reasonable control. We rely on third-party providers (such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe and Resend). Emails can be delayed or filtered by the recipient’s provider, so please keep your own records of important appointments.
09Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ZOROLIQ isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, lost bookings or lost data). Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
Your responsibility for claims. You agree to cover ZOROLIQ (and its owner) for any claims, losses, damages and reasonable legal costs brought by your clients, staff or anyone else that arise from the services or treatments you provide, the content of your consent forms, intake questions and messages, how you collect and use your clients’ information, or your breach of these terms or the law.
10For clients booking through ZOROLIQ
When you book on a business’s ZOROLIQ page, your appointment, deposit and any cancellation or refund are between you and that business, under their policies. ZOROLIQ provides the booking technology only and doesn’t provide or supervise any treatment or service. Any consent form you sign is the business’s form, and questions about it or about your treatment should go to the business. Deposits are paid to the business through Stripe. For questions about an appointment, charge or refund, please contact the business directly. Their contact details are in your confirmation email.
11Ending the agreement
You can stop using ZOROLIQ and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or non-payment, with notice where reasonable.
12General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Alberta. We may update these terms; we’ll post the new version here, email businesses about significant changes at least 14 days before they take effect, and may ask you to agree again to keep using the service. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and ZOROLIQ about the service.
